| Transmission network planning covers definition of the whole network topology, technology selections, equipment configurations, synchronization and management plans. Essential areas of expertise are also site candidate identification and selection, technical site surveys and line-of-sight checks. |
|
• Initial dimensioning of the transmission network
• Transmission media selections: microwave (PDH), SDH, optic, copper, leased line, Satellite
• Existing network evaluation/expansion
• Technical site surveys
• Line-of-sight surveys
• Capacity and topology planning
• MW link level planning and interference analysis
• BSC area boundaries definition |

| Los Height |
|
| A Windows based tool for assisting the LOS Survey Engineers in calculating the antenna Mounting Heights for a given path. The program takes into account various Microwave propagation parameters like %F1 clearance, K factor, frequency band of operation etc. And calculates the required Antenna Mounting Heights, Salient features are :- |
|
• Calculation of Antenna Heights for a given path profile, taking into account the %F1 desired and Earth Bulge
• Path Profiles can be exported to the Pathloss, PI3 formats, which can be imported into Pathloss 4.0
• Facility to generate Terrain Profiles from Digital Terrain Maps in Asset / Planet format
• Optionally a 30 Sec resolution Digital Terrain Database of the entire Indian Subcontinent is available at nominal cost
• Programs available for download from web, for purpose of evaluation, Registration can be done through email
• Low Cost |
| |
| The Program can assist Field Engineers to quickly and accurately estimate antenna heights. |
